You've just woken up in the middle of nowhere and everything around you is destroyed. You have no idea who you are or what you're doing here, but a strange feeling is making your insides quiver. NearEscape is a strategy game in which you've got to survive in a post-apocalyptic world where the only thing that can save you is your wits.

Against this backdrop, NearEscape offers a freeplay adventure where you can enjoy an entire city to investigate and survive. Here you can give free rein to your imagination to keep yourself alive another day; find weapons, food, or whatever else is useful to defend yourself against the undead that have taken over the area.

With time you'll learn that the zombies are sensitive to sound, meaning you always have to walk with a light foot and explore places as securely as possible. Find items to build new objects that prolong your life a few hours more and keep shot of the dangers plaguing you – not just the zombies but also the virus that has eradicated life on the planet.
